Barbie Rewind Missing PS1 and PS2 Games Overview

Barbie Rewind missing PS1 and PS2 games are classic console releases such as Barbie Explorer, Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses, and Barbie Horse Adventures: Wild Horse Rescue that remain absent from the 16-game retro anthology developed by Digital Eclipse.

Which PS1 and PS2 Games Are Missing from Barbie Rewind?

The missing console lineup is a specific group of disc-era Barbie titles highlighted by players in Steam community discussions following the announcement of the collection. Several prominent 32-bit and 128-bit entries remain excluded from the confirmed catalog:

• Barbie Explorer, an action-adventure title originally released for the PlayStation and PC in 2001.
• Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses, an adaptation released across the PlayStation 2 and PC in 2006.
• Barbie Horse Adventures: Wild Horse Rescue, a console equestrian title released on the PlayStation 2.

Discussions on the Steam community forums also point out related absences spanning portable and computer formats, including missing PC games such as Secret Agent Barbie, Barbie High School Mystery, and Barbie Fashion Show, alongside Horse Adventures Mystery Ride and the rare Nintendo 3DS title Barbie: Groom & Glam Pups.

The Barbie Rewind Deluxe Physical Edition for Nintendo Switch comes in a premium, numbered box and includes an exclusive doll wearing an Atari t-shirt and blue jeans with long blonde hair with pink streaks and a full-color poster.

How Do Missing Console Titles Compare to Confirmed Inclusions?

Confirmed releases in the collection focus on a curated selection of 16 classic Barbie video games spanning from 1991 through 2007 rather than an exhaustive disc archive. The developer selected specific handheld and console milestones to integrate directly with DreamHouse quests and decoration unlocks.

Players who want equestrian gameplay receive Horse Adventures Blue Ribbon Race as an included alternative to Wild Horse Rescue, while animal care fans receive Pet Rescue. The anthology also packages the never-before-released Barbie: Vacation Adventure, adding historical value despite the absence of PS1 and PS2 disc favorites among the games included.
